Water Painting
My group loves to paint with water in the summer. I spotted this idea *somewhere* but I don’t recall where now – it was a preschool that had made these and hung them on the fence. I thought it was a genius idea – attach the paintbrush to the water jug that can be filled & carried – it has one purpose – water painting. Love it. The kids did too, it keeps them busy for a long time. They asked me for a ladder to “paint the roof” on the climber. I don’t think so! Some openings on the jugs are cut better than others – some I made the opening too large. The brushes already have a hole in the handle for attaching to the milk jug with a string – .89 at Home Depot.

When they've practiced up with water-have them start staining the fence! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy! We loved these fantastic milk jug paint pails and featured them {and the activity} at our blog, Preschool Lesson Plans. We were sure to give idea/photo credit, as well as a link back to your blog, but we'd love for you to take a look at it and, if there are any problems, we'll be sure to take the feature down immediately!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!

Thanks for linking up over at the PreKandK Sharing We LOVE Paint linky party! I love that children are so engrossed in the process of painting, that is doesn't matter to them that their work literally evaporates into thin air!
